Senior AI Engineer – Agentic Solutions & Digital Thread

Salary: $135,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and implement agentic architectures for code generation, test automation, documentation, rules management, and downstream decision automation.
• Build advanced RAG solutions with vector stores, embedding pipelines, hybrid retrieval, and authoritative enterprise data sources.
• Develop Azure-based AI applications using Python, C#/.NET, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Azure AI Search, Databricks, and agent frameworks.
• Integrate event-driven digital thread systems and implement deterministic thread contracts, lineage, traceability, and reconciliation controls.
• Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, monitoring, telemetry, runbooks, and explainability dashboards.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders while coaching junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, AI/ML, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years focused on AI/ML solutions.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks, MCP, multi-agent orchestration, secure tool integration, and advanced RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of C#, .NET, or TypeScript, plus strong Microsoft Azure and cloud-native experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, DevOps delivery, Databricks, event-driven architectures, and enterprise data integration.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing, including ITAR, EAR, CMMC, DFARS, or CUI handling requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with MDM, data governance, data quality frameworks, PLM, ERP, MES, or QMS integration.
• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF and responsible AI practices.
• Azure AI Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
