What you will do

• Lead a team of .NET developers building payment processing, orchestration, and third-party provider integrations.
• Design and deliver scalable backend services using .NET, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework Core, REST, and gRPC.
• Shape architecture across microservices and event-driven payment systems.
• Own integrations with payment providers, banks, and mobile money operators from onboarding through production.
• Build resilient payment flows covering timeouts, retries, idempotency, reconciliation, and provider-specific behavior.
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with C#/.NET, REST and gRPC APIs.
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and modern data-access patterns.
• Experience designing distributed or microservices-based systems and integrating external APIs.
• Knowledge of clean code, software design patterns, SOLID principles, Kafka or comparable messaging technologies, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop software engineers, with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform and cloud-native architectures.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
