What you will do

• Design, build, and operate backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Own services end-to-end, including production monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Modernize existing systems by decomposing legacy components into scalable services.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and fault tolerance through architectural refinement.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to scope and deliver new features.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Experience designing APIs and service-to-service communication.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Practical knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, design patterns).
• Must be willing to work onsite in Ypsonas, Cyprus (relocation support provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of observability tools (OpenTelemetry, logs, metrics).
• Experience with MS SQL or PostgreSQL performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Redis and real-time trading systems.
