Location: Onsite in the Limassol, Cyprus office; open to candidates currently living in Cyprus.

What you will do

• Deliver backend product features that meet functional, security, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, documented Go code with strong unit, integration, automation, and load-test coverage.
• Develop and maintain microservices and integrations with APIs, storage systems, and other components.
• Improve latency, fault tolerance, resilience, and reliability in high-load environments.
• Debug, profile, optimize, and reduce technical debt through incremental engineering improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to internal engineering knowledge bases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of backend software development experience with Golang.
• Experience building high-load, concurrent, and multithreaded backend systems and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of service design, APIs, storage, testing, CI/CD, version control, code reviews, branching, and releases.
• Experience with ORM, DBMS, database architecture, system design, integration patterns, debugging, profiling, and code optimization.
• English level: B2+.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial or market-based software development.
• Experience with distributed systems.
