Business Analytics Lead (MedTech)

Location: Vienna, Austria; global role with up to 30% international travel. EU citizenship or a valid Austrian work permit is required. Flexible working hours and a home office policy are available.

Minimum gross salary: EUR 3,954 per month; higher compensation may be offered based on experience and market conditions.

What you will do

• Own the data roadmap, KPI strategy, and analytics orchestration for the Patient Insights portfolio.
• Integrate Finance, Portfolio, Customer Experience, Sales, and other data sources to support strategic business decisions.
• Define and track performance metrics across product development, commercialization, and solution usage.
• Lead executive dashboard and reporting initiatives, acting as the business owner and super user for solutions such as Tableau.
• Partner with R&D, IT, product, service, and solution development teams to translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
• Coach colleagues, support Agile Release Trains and SAFe ceremonies, and promote data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data, computer science, mathematics, engineering, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Expertise in data science, analytics, statistical methods, quantitative analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, preferably diagnostics or medical technology.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms, especially Tableau; familiarity with Oracle and Countly is valuable.
• Experience in Lean Analytics, digital business, healthcare analytics, dashboard design, and information visualization.
• Business-fluent English and either EU citizenship or a valid Austrian work permit are required.
