Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst

Location: Madrid, Spain; flexible hybrid working model combining office and remote work.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into data models, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain analytical datasets using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Develop BI reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Integrate local data sources into the broader data ecosystem and ensure data quality and KPI documentation.
• Support Data & AI use cases and collaborate with Data Engineering to industrialize analytics products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics, BI, analytics engineering, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Good Python skills for data preparation, analysis, and automation.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms such as Looker or Tableau.
• Experience building dashboards, KPI frameworks, and analytical models.
• Ability to gather business requirements and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, Jupyter Notebooks, or Google Colab.
• Experience working with international and cross-functional teams.
