Software Engineer I (DevOps/Testing): Building, testing, and delivering reliable software components and services with an accent on test automation, code quality, and operational efficiency. Location: Hybrid in Cyberjaya, Malaysia

What you will do
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and architecture teams.
- Implement performant, reliable code and contribute to product design, estimation, and delivery planning.
- Design and implement tests, improve test coverage, and maintain efficient test automation.
- Review code, close defects, perform root cause analysis, and prevent regressions.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response using an “Everything as Code” approach.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, support, and consulting teams to release software and improve operational practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Telecommunication Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong programming, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of scalable software development and software testing methodologies.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in DevOps, Build and Release Engineering, and software quality practices.
Nice to have
- Internship or previous experience in DevOps, infrastructure operations, or a similar area.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools.
