Global Applications Lead (Bioprocessing)

What you will do

• Define and execute the global applications strategy and roadmap across the bioprocessing portfolio.
• Standardize application frameworks, workflows, positioning, and high-value use cases for global field application teams.
• Serve as the senior scientific expert for bioprocessing workflows, analytical applications, strategic customer evaluations, and application escalations.
• Partner with Product Management and commercial teams to shape product strategy, value propositions, scientific messaging, and investment decisions.
• Lead scientific content and thought leadership, including application notes, white papers, posters, webinars, and conference presentations.
• Own the Waltham applications lab, coordinating experiments, inventory, equipment, and internal and external lab activities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on bioprocessing experience, including monoclonal antibodies and ideally emerging target classes such as cell and gene therapy or mRNA.
• Leadership experience in scientific, applications, or technical roles.
• Ability to present scientific data to technical and executive audiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership skills.
• PhD in Life Sciences or a related discipline strongly preferred; an MS with significant industry experience will be considered.
• Ability to work on-site in Waltham as part of a hybrid schedule.
