Senior Java and Angular Fullstack Developer (Banking Systems)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java 8+ applications with Spring Boot for banking operations.
• Design and implement Angular frontend features and user experiences.
• Use SQL and PL/SQL to manage and query relational databases.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Kubernetes, and scripting.
• Improve system reliability and performance using DynaTrace, Kibana, and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on troubleshooting, code reviews, version control, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, SQL, and Angular.
• Experience with GitLab, Kubernetes, and scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience optimizing complex workflows.
• Excellent English at C1 level is required.
• Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spark, ETL, Liquibase, DevOps, ArgoCD, Vault, JFrog, Kafka, or related technologies.
• Experience with banking or financial systems.
