Media Relations Manager (Government Affairs and Geopolitics)

Location: Washington, D.C., United States, hybrid role with office presence at least three days per week

Salary: $110,250–165,375 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute proactive strategic media plans aligned with business goals and geopolitical strategies.
• Analyze and measure media activities to demonstrate impact on business and reputation.
• Translate developments in technology, policy, and geopolitics into media opportunities.
• Collaborate with communications, government affairs, and legal teams to support reputation and public debate.
• Draft and review press materials and manage media briefings and interviews with U.S. and international media.
• Support strategic decision-making by working closely with internal stakeholders and the U.S. Government Affairs team.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Washington, D.C., United States with hybrid office attendance.
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in issues communications related to government affairs, public policy, and geopolitics.
• High affinity or experience in technology and the semiconductor industry.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at executive levels internationally.
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology under U.S. Export Administration Regulations prior to starting work.

• Experience in a global listed company or public affairs environment.
• Journalism background.
