Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; full-time role with hybrid working possible by agreement with the line manager.

What you will do

• Lead the production of high-priority evidence reviews with local, regional, and national relevance.
• Oversee the day-to-day generation of rapid evidence syntheses using established processes.
• Work with research and external partners to develop review protocols.
• Deliver rapid, scoping, and systematic reviews across applied health and social care topics.
• Communicate and share findings with academics, policymakers, public and private sector partners, and members of the public.

Requirements

• Skills and experience in evidence synthesis and applied health or social care research.
• Ability to take a leading role in producing high-priority reviews.
• Experience developing protocols and delivering multiple evidence synthesis approaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work in Manchester; hybrid arrangements require line manager agreement.
