Research Technician (Neurovascular Research)

What you will do

• Support pressure myography experiments using pressurised cerebral arteries.
• Perform high-speed confocal imaging of pressurised arteries.
• Assist with electrophysiology experiments and molecular biology approaches.
• Investigate how amyloid beta contracts vascular smooth muscle cells.
• Help evaluate novel compounds aimed at preventing vasoconstriction and improving cerebral blood flow.

Requirements

• Applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
• This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
• Ability to contribute to experimental cardiovascular and neurovascular research.
• Willingness to work with mouse cerebral arteries and laboratory techniques.
