DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote worldwide for candidates in time zones UTC+5 or west, including the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Western/Central Asia.

What you will do

• Own and evolve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, reducing deployment times and implementing rollback, blue-green, or canary deployment capabilities.
• Improve monitoring with SLA-oriented dashboards, synthetic checks, APM, and reduced alert noise.
• Harden backup, point-in-time recovery, and disaster-recovery processes, including verification automation and runbooks.
• Plan capacity, provision regions, and optimize infrastructure costs across bare-metal providers and other infrastructure environments.
• Drive containerization of Windows-based services and improve secrets management and infrastructure observability.
• Handle incident response, root-cause analysis, SQL Server operations, networking, security, and AI-assisted infrastructure automation.

Requirements

• English at B1+ level for day-to-day communication.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong Windows Server, IIS/Kestrel, and .NET hosting experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, templates, variable groups, and environments.
• Production experience with MS SQL Server administration, PowerShell, Docker, Docker Compose, Linux, Ansible, networking, security, and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
• Daily AI-first infrastructure work using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot-class agents is required.

Nice to have

• Proxmox, KVM, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm experience.
• Bare-metal hosting with OVHcloud, Leaseweb, Hetzner, or similar providers.
• Experience migrating Windows workloads to containers.
• Terraform, Pulumi, or cost optimization for hybrid bare-metal and cloud environments.

Hiring process
