What you will do
- Design and develop backend services and REST APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture.
- Build scalable banking and lending solutions for a UK specialist bank serving SMEs and individual customers.
- Develop integrations between applications, services, and data platforms.
- Design and optimize SQL database components for efficient and reliable data processing.
- Implement unit and API testing strategies and improve software quality.
- Drive CI/CD adoption and deployment automation in Azure cloud environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience with RESTful API development, testing, and Postman.
- Practical SQL knowledge, including database design, querying, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, distributed systems, and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, .NET design patterns, and the software development lifecycle.
- Confident written and verbal English is required for communication with international clients.
