Clinical Data Coder

Location: Office-based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Occasional work from home may be available for eligible positions after training.

What you will do

• Accurately code medical terms and medications using industry and company standards.
• Coordinate appropriate dictionary assignments for clinical study requirements.
• Develop and maintain coding guidelines.
• Issue queries on adverse events, medications, and medical history terms to improve coding quality.
• Collaborate with Medical, Data Management, Safety, and Biostatistics teams.
• Produce coding reports for review and study use.

Requirements

• BSN and RN with applicable experience, or an advanced clinical degree such as PharmD.
• Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with clinical trials or the pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
• Experience using MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries is preferred.
• Ability to work in the Cincinnati office; no travel is required.
