What you will do

• Develop, enhance, support, and maintain software solutions for global asset and wealth management businesses.
• Design and implement scalable technology solutions using internal and open-source services.
• Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, coding, testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
• Design and develop service-oriented enterprise applications, microservices, and backend integrations.
• Build robust unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing suites.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 or 5 years of experience, depending on degree level, with at least 5 of the listed technical skill areas.
• Experience with C++ or Java and the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience building multi-threaded and multi-process enterprise applications in a Unix environment.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Kafka, relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, REST, or microservices architecture.
• Must be based in Seattle, Washington, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sybase, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Experience identifying external technologies for innovative financial platforms.
