TL;DR
Lead Security Analyst (Cybersecurity): Leading GRC and cybersecurity activities for a Fortune 500 homebuilder with an accent on risk governance, vulnerability management, compliance, and incident response. Focus on developing security frameworks, advising leadership on risk mitigation, overseeing remediation and third-party risk, and building effective cybersecurity teams.

Location: Onsite in Irving, Texas, United States; regular in-person attendance at the hirify.global office is required.

What you will do

  • Lead the cybersecurity team from a technical and strategic perspective and oversee cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain the GRC framework in alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Advise leadership and business stakeholders on security risks, risk tolerance, and mitigation strategies.
  • Create risk posture reports and oversee remediation plans for assessments, audits, vulnerabilities, and security gaps.
  • Review vulnerability and penetration testing reports, tabletop exercise results, and business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Manage third-party, vendor, and business partner security risks while mentoring junior cybersecurity professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership, vulnerability management, GRC, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and frameworks such as PCI, FFIEC, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, GLBA, ISO 17799, ITIL, NIST, or FAIR.
  • Strong leadership, management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Advanced cybersecurity certification required, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
  • Ability to attend the Irving office in person during regular work hours and perform required sedentary office duties.

Nice to have

  • Additional certifications such as CISA, CGEIT, GCCC, GSEC, or GISP.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
