QA Engineer III (Java)

What you will do

• Plan and document regression, integration, functional, and automation test cases with product, analysis, program, and engineering stakeholders.
• Develop, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks using Java and related tools.
• Build BDD features, scenarios, and step definitions with Cucumber or Spock.
• Validate new functionality during Agile sprints, identify defects, and coordinate resolution with development and product teams.
• Improve automation frameworks, build workflows, and continuous integration processes.
• Lead scrum test teams by example and mentor junior QA team members.

Requirements

• 5–12 years of experience in testing, SDET, or software development, with a mix of testing and development experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and the full testing lifecycle.
• Excellent Java development skills, including object-oriented programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing, as well as Agile collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud repositories such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of Gradle, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity.
• Prior software development experience.
