Senior Unix Administrator (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Architect, configure, and manage complex Unix, Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, and cloud computing environments.
• Administer AIX and RHEL systems across physical data centers and AWS infrastructure.
• Implement and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments, manifest files, Helm charts, and containerized applications.
• Deploy and manage services in AWS, including EKS and ECS, while supporting integrations with other cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and technology teams on service development, migration, and operational support.
• Support disaster recovery processes and troubleshoot networking, Java VM, Tomcat, and PostgreSQL environments.

Requirements

• Experience managing enterprise Linux-based systems, including AIX and RHEL environments.
• Strong Kubernetes implementation and administration skills, including manifest files and Helm charts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, Git, virtualization, and public cloud container services.
• Understanding of load balancing, service APIs, DNS, gateways, proxies, and firewalls.
• Experience troubleshooting Java VM and Tomcat configurations and errors.
• Understanding of PostgreSQL deployment and configuration, plus Gradle or Maven build processes.
