TL;DR
Strategic Solutions Engineer (AI): Designing, demonstrating, and proving the value of Glean’s Work AI platform through customer-specific environments, integrations, and technical proof-of-concept cycles with an accent on enterprise solution architecture, security, and AI adoption. Focus on leading complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles, configuring API-based integrations, overcoming technical objections, and translating platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
Location: Remote, must be based in Pacific or Mountain time zones
Compensation: $200,000–$285,000 annual OTE, with possible variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

Glean provides a Work AI platform with enterprise search, an AI Assistant, AI agents, SaaS connectors, flexible LLM support, and APIs for secure knowledge access and automation.
What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives on complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deal cycles involving C-level executives.
- Design and demonstrate customer-specific Work AI environments based on industry and business-line needs.
- Lead technical discovery and manage technical proof-of-concept cycles.
- Architect integrations and data connections, including API-based integrations.
- Lead customer conversations about security posture and address technical and security objections.
- Collaborate with product and engineering on customer requests and develop ROI and business-justification materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience partnering with Account Executives on technical enterprise deal cycles.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud environment: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python or Java and ability to configure, monitor, and maintain API-based integrations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, a consultative approach, and experience overcoming technical and security objections.
