What you will do

• Run engineering leadership meetings, agendas, decision records, and follow-up routines.
• Own the quarterly OKR and QBR cycle, including status tracking, reviews, and escalation of delays.
• Identify stalled or ownerless cross-team initiatives and establish clear ownership, checkpoints, and next steps.
• Coordinate special projects such as organizational models, data-team formation, security consulting, AI-agent platforms, audits, and tool pilots.
• Prepare concise, decision-ready materials for the CTO, executive team, CEO, and board-level audiences.
• Standardize engineering planning, communication, procurement, budgeting, and hand-off practices across departments.

Requirements

• Experience running the operating system of an engineering organization as a TPM lead, head of engineering operations, or equivalent.
• Track record coordinating and landing ambiguous, multi-team initiatives through influence without direct authority.
• Strong executive synthesis, operating discipline, and ability to build durable follow-up systems.
• Engineering background sufficient to participate in architecture discussions and identify when technical issues require escalation.
• Credibility with engineers, engineering managers, and directors through reliable follow-through.
• Fluent English at C1 level and fluent Russian are required for technical communication.

Nice to have

• Chief of Staff, Engineering Operations, or TPM-lead experience reporting to engineering leadership.
• Experience improving efficiency in engineering organizations of 100+ people using automation and AI tooling.
• Procurement, vendor contracting, budgeting, nonprofit technology, or payments experience.
• Familiarity with Node, NestJS, React, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Kafka, Cloudflare, PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
