Bid Manager (Technology Services)

Location: Any UK office hub: Bristol, London, Manchester or Swansea; part-time remote working is available

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage bids from early presales through proposal submission, including smaller opportunities independently.
• Coordinate Client Partners, Industry Directors and bid teams to plan timelines and deliver high-quality responses.
• Lead answer planning and facilitate bid workshops.
• Manage bid governance, qualification processes and opportunity mailbox activities.
• Write, review and improve proposals, presentations and bid content libraries.
• Own social value content, commercial submission components and continuous improvement through retrospectives.

Requirements

• Experience in a bid or presales environment.
• Direct experience writing and reviewing new-business proposals.
• Strong creative writing, attention to detail and team coordination skills.
• Effective communication, relationship-building, empathy and ownership.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Ability to work from a UK office hub: Bristol, London, Manchester or Swansea

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B technology services or business process outsourcing.
• Experience working in the UK public sector.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, digital transformation and user-centred design.
• Experience planning and delivering successful workshops.
• Knowledge of social value initiatives.
