Senior Bid Writer (Construction)

Location: Central London with hybrid working available; events in London

Salary: Up to £70,000 plus package

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage the full end-to-end bid process for major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Develop win strategies through research, tender analysis, workshops, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Produce tender programmes, bid plans, key messaging, storyboard content, and proposal materials.
• Coordinate tender team members and internal stakeholders throughout submission development.
• Manage client relationships and formal communications during live tenders.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions, bid strategies, and internal governance procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager within construction, engineering, or architecture.
• Strong understanding of bid management, tender strategy, and programme coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including workshop leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMQ, or an equivalent project management qualification.
