Partner Solutions Engineer (EMEA)

TL;DR

Partner Solutions Engineer (EMEA) (Next.js/React): Enabling solution and consulting partners to deliver Vercel and Next.js projects across EMEA with an accent on technical training, certification, developer advocacy, and pre-sales support. Focus on building AI and agent applications, designing scalable web solutions, and coordinating partner engineering teams across the DACH region and multiple time zones.

Location: Hybrid position based in Vercel's London or Berlin office, with 3 days per week in the office. Candidates must be based in EMEA and able to travel 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Act as a technical subject matter expert on Vercel and Next.js for partner engineering teams and leadership across EMEA.
• Run the regional partner certification program, including workshops, project reviews, and engineering guidance.
• Create and deliver technical enablement, workshops, hackathons, and best-practice content for Next.js, Vercel, AI, and agent applications.
• Support partner-led pre-sales through proofs of concept, technical deep dives, and deal unblocking.
• Build lasting relationships with systems integrators, global systems integrators, engineering teams, and practice leaders.
• Create templates and solutions that help partner communities deliver Vercel projects effectively.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a solutions engineer advising or consulting engineering teams.
• 6+ years of experience building and launching frontend applications with Next.js or React.
• Strong knowledge of web architecture, frontend development, serverless computing, cloud infrastructure, and networking.
• Spoken fluency in German and/or French is essential; professional English is also required.
• Experience with agencies, systems integrators, or consulting firms, including technology practice delivery and growth.
• Experience in developer relations, technical training, pre-sales, stakeholder communication, and technology adoption.

Nice to have

• Experience building and shipping AI-powered or agentic applications with the AI SDK.
• Fluency in both German and French.
• Experience running certification, training, or enablement programs at scale.
• Experience with composable architectures such as headless CMS, commerce, search, or analytics.
