What you will do

• Contribute to embedded platform and application software development.
• Create and execute tests to validate new software capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in real-time embedded systems.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve software quality.
• Collaborate with engineers using Agile development practices and modern development workflows.
• Apply AI tools and technologies throughout the software design lifecycle.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in an Engineering or Computer Science degree program.
• Foundational knowledge of coding concepts and programming structures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Available for a 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-month work term starting in September 2026.

Nice to have

• Exposure to C, C++, Python, Bash, or Java.
• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Gerrit, or Jira.
• Experience with Google Test, JUnit, Robot, or PyTest.
• Experience with AI tools, GitHub Copilot, test case generation, or AI agents and workflows.
• Understanding of GDB and interest in embedded software and automated testing.
