What you will do

• Design and implement functional specifications for Linux-based drivers and APIs to manage hardware devices.
• Develop and debug system software using C, C++, and Python to support EOS and related networking infrastructure.
• Create and execute automated test plans to ensure the quality and stability of software releases.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and System Test Engineers to analyze and resolve complex issues in customer installations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the software development team.
• Manage project schedules and report progress to project leads to ensure timely delivery of features.

Requirements

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 7-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
• Experience writing Linux drivers and APIs for hardware or resource management.
• Hands-on experience with open source software and programming ASICs or custom hardware.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, distributed systems, and networking infrastructure.
• Ability to design and implement solutions for complex problems with limited oversight.
