What you will do

• Configure, maintain, and improve Linux environments, Docker workflows, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop backend functionality primarily in Java.
• Design platform features for cluster tooling, installer automation, and backend services.
• Troubleshoot and optimise complex issues across infrastructure and the codebase.
• Collaborate with QA to maintain code quality and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Solid backend development experience and a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience configuring and operating Docker and Kubernetes clusters.
• Comfortable administering Linux systems.
• Experience with Java or readiness to develop Java skills alongside infrastructure expertise.
• Experience working in Scrum and communicating independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• A clean criminal record and seven years of residence in a NATO and/or EU country are required for security-classified projects.
