What you will do

• Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, JavaScript, and Selenium.
• Define testing strategies across unit, integration, system, end-to-end, edge-case, and release testing.
• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI, GitLab, Bitbucket, and broader DevOps pipelines.
• Perform API validation, database verification with SQL, defect analysis, and security-focused testing aligned with OWASP practices.
• Conduct technical discovery, demonstrations, stakeholder discussions, and customer-facing quality advisory.
• Use and govern AI-assisted workflows for test planning, script generation, execution, debugging, and quality gates.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in German and English is required.
• Professional experience in software quality engineering, software development, or quality assurance, including some lead or coordination experience.
• Hands-on experience building automated test frameworks with Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Experience with Agile delivery, Git-based workflows, CI/CD tools, REST API testing, and Postman.
• Client consulting, technical advisory, presentation, or technical discovery experience.
• Knowledge of Atlassian technologies or partner systems, plus exposure to performance testing, security testing, OWASP guidelines, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with Playwright.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering, AI code assistants, or other AI-supported QA tools.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing concepts.
