What you will do

• Develop embedded software in C for Flight Control functions.
• Manage the full V-cycle (requirements, design, implementation, verification) in a DO-178C environment.
• Derive Low-Level Requirements (LLRs) from High-Level Requirements (HLRs) ensuring full traceability.
• Design systems using UML, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
• Execute unit, developer, and software tests for requirements-based verification.
• Perform debugging and integration testing with Trace32/Lauterbach and support QA audits.

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace engineering, software engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Strong experience in Embedded C development across the full V-cycle.
• Expertise in software design (UML, Rhapsody) and requirements engineering (DOORS).
• Solid knowledge of DO-178C standards, DAL levels, and aerospace certification processes.
• Experience with RTOS and debugging tools like Trace32 or Lauterbach.
• Must be prepared to undergo an enhanced security clearance (Level Ü2).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with FMS/FMC, Flight Control Systems, and ARINC standards.
• Proficiency in German.
