What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting AI-driven solutions for oil and gas operations.
• Develop performant frontends using React or Angular and build robust backends with Python (FastAPI) or Node.js.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Integrate AI/ML services and models into production-grade applications.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to translate complex requirements into digital products.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on full-stack best practices and the responsible use of AI-assisted tooling.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js, and TypeScript with React or Angular.
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial digitalization environments.
• Prior experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers.
