What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Develop and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed data systems.
• Drive the development of data platforms and products supporting analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
• Architect solutions utilizing Hadoop, Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Implement automation, monitoring, and observability across the entire data lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for data modeling, pipeline design, and governance.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. applicant.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience with Advanced degrees).
• Solid experience in big data engineering with Hadoop, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Expertise in Java or Scala and container-based technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Kafka, Redis, Flink, TensorFlow, Triton, and AWS services.
• Experience with Unix/Shell scripting and scheduling tools such as Airflow and Control-M.
