What you will do

• Deliver new features and improve the scalability of Network Services products.
• Evolve Network Firewall and security capabilities across north-south and east-west network architectures.
• Build and operate high-performance systems on a massive global edge network.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to solve complex security problems.
• Optimize systems for demanding throughput and strict latency requirements.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems.
• Systems-level programming experience, preferably with Go and/or Rust.
• Expertise in L3 and L4 networking protocols.
• Experience building high-performance network security products (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation).
• Knowledge of low-latency userspace packet processing and Linux kernel primitives like eBPF and netfilter.
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin or Atlanta, USA.
• Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws is required.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend systems.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines and efficient querying.
• Advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
