Senior Data Engineer (iGaming)

hirify.global develops and operates an in-house Sportsbook platform for multiple brands and B2B markets in the iGaming industry.

What you will do

• Maintain and evolve data structures and develop new ETL flows while improving existing ones.
• Design data structures and data modeling concepts for the Sportsbook data platform.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy by creating data validation methods.
• Write, optimize, and maintain stored procedures and database solutions.
• Investigate and develop message-based architectures for data streams.
• Troubleshoot incidents, document processes and procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely insights.

Requirements

• Advanced T-SQL coding skills.
• Proven experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MSSQL 2014–2017.
• Experience with ETL processes, SSIS, data warehouse concepts, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with SSRS, SSAS, Git, and core database development and tuning techniques.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, work within Scrum, and troubleshoot problems creatively.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Automation and scripting experience.
• Additional programming skills in .NET, Python, R, or Scala.
• Knowledge of Big Data concepts and data streaming architectures.
