TL;DR
Business Analyst (DoD) (Government Financial Systems): Supporting and training users of a Department of Defense program management and financial management system with an accent on government finance, acquisition, budgeting, and financial data integrity. Location: Remote within the United States; on-site customer support and training may be required, along with some travel. U.S. citizenship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do
- Act as a financial and technical consultant for a DoD program management and financial management system.
- Provide expertise on government finance, acquisition, budgeting, and accounting processes.
- Help customers structure financial data correctly.
- Reconcile data across multiple financial and accounting systems.
- Review forecasts and accounting data daily while supporting a government financial office.
- Provide customer training and support, including occasional travel and on-site work.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in government acquisition, finance, financial management, program management, or a related field within a DoD organization.
- A bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline; seven or more years of equivalent technical or military experience may substitute.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship required; H1-B and other visa sponsorship is not available.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and communicate financial and technical information accurately.

- Experience with or certification in the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR).
