What you will do
- Automate repetitive engineering tasks and streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize deployment processes to enable faster and more reliable releases.
- Analyze engineering workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Design and implement process improvements, including continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Improve code review processes and collaborate with engineering teams on technical initiatives.
- Support production web applications across a platform with multiple services.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and supporting production web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
- Proficiency writing and maintaining production software.
- Experience working with multiple services and solving problems in new and legacy codebases.
- Ability to collaborate across experience levels, document work, and balance asynchronous communication with virtual meetings.
- Independent problem-solving skills with a humble, curious, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
Nice to have
- DevOps or SRE experience.
- Production experience with Golang and Ruby.
- Experience on an engineering enablement or platform team.
- Experience contributing to engineering-wide initiatives.
