Senior Mail Engineer

Location: Shkodër, Tirana, Katowice, Poznań, Warsaw, Wrocław, Málaga, or Ebene; CET working environment. Workation abroad is available for up to four weeks per year where hirify.global has a legal entity.

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and improve enterprise mail infrastructure supporting more than 10,000 employees.
• Operate and optimize Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including mail flow, connectors, and transport rules.
• Strengthen email security using SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, secure SMTP, anti-spam, anti-phishing, and malware protection.
• Support mass mailing platforms, deliverability, and sender reputation management.
• Provide third-line support for complex delivery, routing, authentication, and security incidents.
• Contribute to migrations, upgrades, documentation, integrations, and the future enterprise messaging roadmap.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience with enterprise messaging platforms and mail infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including hybrid messaging environments.
• Expertise in mail flow, connectors, transport rules, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, secure SMTP, and email security gateways.
• Experience troubleshooting complex mail delivery, routing, and authentication issues and providing third-line support.
• Knowledge of mass mailing platforms, sender reputation, and email deliverability best practices.
• Excellent English communication skills are required. Experience in Agile and international environments is expected.
