What you will do

• Own critical APIs end to end, from RFC design and implementation through staged rollout and post-launch iteration.
• Contribute to product codebases across Go, Rust, and Python.
• Build agent-facing capabilities including hosted MCP, tool calling, connectors, and authentication flows.
• Harden the public API platform for enterprise use through authentication, data-handling guarantees, guardrails, and security improvements.
• Own production operations by creating monitors and dashboards, responding to alerts, and leading postmortems.
• Partner with Research, Product, GTM, and customers to turn frontier model capabilities into production API features.

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating distributed, high-load systems.
• Daily experience building with frontier models and tooling, including the ability to explain agentic workflows in detail.
• High autonomy, strong agency, and product sense focused on developer and customer needs.
• Working fluency with a major cloud provider, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Depth in either API product engineering or platform operations, with genuine interest in the other area.

Nice to have

• Experience building agent loops or harnesses.
• Experience creating developer or API tooling in the LLM ecosystem or adjacent fast-evolving domains such as fintech and payments.
• Open-source contributions to SDKs, frameworks, or integrations used by developers.
