What you will do

• Research, design, and implement coding and reimbursement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate data collection and administrative functions for billing and coding changes.
• Collaborate with Claims, IT, and Medical Policy teams to support payment accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare billing guidelines and develop educational materials for staff training.
• Provide coding consultations and recommend code editing changes for corporate functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience in a corporate environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Medical/Clinical Coding.
• Certification from a recognized organization (CPC, CPC-H, CCS-P, or CCS), or willingness to obtain one within two years.
• Knowledge of MS-DRGs, APCs, revenue codes, and facility billing requirements.
• Understanding of HIPAA standardized claims transactions and medical/clinical coding.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
