What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software components in C and C++.
• Build and improve applications running on Linux and Unix systems.
• Develop and support real-time data and event-processing components.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Modernize existing codebases while improving performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple services and integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with C and C++.
• Strong Linux and Unix expertise with a deep understanding of operating systems fundamentals.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience debugging complex production systems and understanding networking concepts.
• Experience working with distributed systems and strong problem-solving skills.
• Professional English and the ability to work remotely from Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming media and video processing systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and asynchronous communication.
• Exposure to microservices.
• Experience with Ruby.
