Salesforce Technical Lead (Public Sector)

Location: Must be based in Vienna, VA, USA. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for Public Trust security clearance.

Salary: $170,000 - $185,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for an assigned scrum team, conducting design reviews and removing technical blockers.
• Develop advanced customizations using Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, and Experience Cloud.
• Implement declarative solutions via Flow Builder and Flow Orchestrator, balancing custom code with maintainable automation.
• Build Agentforce agents using prompt engineering, grounding strategies, and integration with Data 360.
• Collaborate with the Principal Enterprise Architect on solution design and platform governance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and ensure Section 508/WCAG compliance.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for Public Trust security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Salesforce development experience, with 3+ years in a lead capacity.
• Required Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I.
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, Flow, and GovCloud environments.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and Grants Management.
• AI certifications (AI Associate, AI Specialist) or experience with Einstein GPT.
• Expertise in CRM Analytics, Tableau, or Data 360 semantic models.
• Experience with Headless APIs and decoupled architecture.
• MuleSoft certification or SAFe (SA, SSM, SPC) certification.
