What you will do

• Lead the Product Owner function across hirify.global Europe and define standards, ways of working, quality benchmarks, and career frameworks.
• Line-manage, coach, and develop Product Owners while maintaining accountability for performance and delivery outcomes.
• Balance priorities across multiple Value Streams and translate European, local, and functional initiatives into actionable backlogs and delivery plans.
• Partner with sponsors and senior stakeholders to shape objectives, priorities, scope decisions, and change agendas.
• Oversee roadmaps, dependencies, delivery plans, governance, and escalation of prioritization conflicts.
• Drive agile maturity, continuous improvement, and value-focused delivery in collaboration with Change team leaders and the Agile Coach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an agile delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile methodologies and experience with Value Stream-based or product-centric operating models.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear backlog items and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
• Strong prioritization, decision-making, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, verbally and in writing, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or financial services.
• Experience with multi-country or European operating models.
• Agile certification such as CSPO or SAFe PO/PM.
• Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven change.
• Fluency in French, German, Spanish, or another European language.
