TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Adtech): Building and optimizing high-scale infrastructure for identity, measurement, and targeting solutions within an omnichannel advertising platform with an accent on low-latency auction resolution and massive dataset management. Focus on designing distributed systems using Scala and TypeScript to handle billions of monthly users and high-traffic event processing.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office) in Ljubljana, Slovenia

What you will do

Manage large-scale identity graphs and oversee the production delivery of identity signals using Scala and C*.
Build full-stack infrastructure for premium measurement metrics, including Attention, Brand Lift, and Sales Uplift.
Develop ETL pipelines and integrate Data Science logic using BigQuery, DBT, Python, and Airflow.
Design and implement high-performance internal and external APIs to facilitate third-party feedback loops.
Develop systems for user segmentation and cookieless data ingestion to ensure multi-screen consistency.
Collaborate with Product teams to adapt Cloud infrastructure for new features and products.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer working in high-traffic, low-latency environments.
Proficiency in Scala and TypeScript.
Experience with BigQuery, DBT, and Python/Airflow for signal analysis and exploratory tooling.
Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Ljubljana, Slovenia (3 days per week in office).
English proficiency (CV must be submitted in English).
