Product Manager (Adhesive Film Solutions)

Product Manager (Adhesive Film Solutions): Owns the commercialization of film-based adhesive technologies for consumer electronics and flexible substrates with an accent on customer-specific bonding solutions, product specifications, and reliability performance. Focus on leading new product introduction from concept to mass production, solving adhesion and environmental reliability challenges, and coordinating R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales.

What you will do

• Engage with consumer electronics brands and EMS providers to understand lamination, die-cutting, and assembly challenges.
• Develop tailored film-based bonding solutions for keyboard assemblies, phone cases, wearable bands, and flexible substrates.
• Provide technical leadership on adhesion, peel strength, creep resistance, and environmental reliability.
• Coordinate product specifications, testing protocols, raw material availability, cost targets, and cross-functional execution.
• Monitor competitive offerings and application trends, including foldable displays, smart wearables, and sustainable materials.
• Lead new product introduction from concept through reliability testing, mass production, and production ramp support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or application engineering in the adhesive, film, or tapes industry.
• At least 3 years focused on consumer electronics or flexible substrates.
• Deep knowledge of polyurethane, silicone, and water-based adhesives, plus film coating and die-cutting processes.
• Experience with low-surface-energy materials such as silicone, PP, and TPU, and surface treatments including plasma and corona.
• Fluent English required for internal and external customer communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with heat-activated films, pressure-sensitive transfer tapes, or UV-curable films.
• Familiarity with DFM and FMEA.
• Experience launching products for major consumer electronics customers.
