Salary: $169,100 – $270,800 per year

• Conduct theoretical and practical R&D in quantum information and computation with implications for finance and payments.
• Design and test novel algorithms and models to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing.

• Mentor interns and contribute to a collaborative research environment.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. applicant.
• Solid theoretical understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum computation, and information.
• Experience proposing novel quantum algorithms in areas such as optimization, machine learning, or security.
• Proficiency with quantum programming platforms such as Qiskit or Cirq.
• Software engineering skills, including coding, debugging, and version control (Git).

Nice to have

• Experience in financial applications of quantum computing (e.g., risk analysis, derivative pricing).
• Familiarity with classical finance models or financial engineering.
