Location: Remote or hybrid within the United States
Salary: $188,275–$270,375 base salary, plus equity, cash bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do
- Lead the analysis and interpretation of molecular and clinical data for early cancer detection.
- Develop research hypotheses and own computational and assay improvement projects from ideation through implementation.
- Build bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput NGS data processing and analysis.
- Assess assay performance, quality control, and clinical utility in collaboration with wet-lab scientists.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Molecular R&D, Model R&D, and Computational Biology Assay Development teams.
Requirements
- PhD in computational biology, cancer biology, statistics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- 6+ years of scientific industry experience applying computational techniques to biological discovery and product development.
- Extensive experience developing NGS assays and complex high-throughput NGS processing workflows.
- Strong quantitative reasoning, data analysis, computational, and programming skills.
- Thorough experience with Python statistical packages such as NumPy, Matplotlib, and Pandas, or equivalent R experience.
- Strong scientific communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Expertise in chromatin biology, liquid biopsy, and DNA methylation in cancer early detection.
- Experience using DNA methylation data for biomarker discovery.
- Experience developing, applying, and evaluating statistical or machine learning algorithms.
