What you will do
- Own technical strategy for key Japan public sector customers, defining target architectures and roadmaps.
- Lead solution design for priority government use cases, including citizen 360, program analytics, and smart infrastructure.
- Design architectures ensuring compliance with public sector expectations on data residency, access control, and auditability.
- Collaborate with SIs and cloud providers to deliver integrated, production-grade solutions on Databricks.
- Mentor Solutions Architects and partners on effectively engaging with Japan public sector stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data platforms, analytics, or cloud architecture.
- Significant experience working with public sector organizations in Japan.
- Proven ability to build trust and lead high-stakes technical discussions with senior government stakeholders (CIO, CDO).
- Strong technical background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, AI/ML, or Cloud Architecture.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
- Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
