Sr. Solutions Architect (Public Sector)

What you will do

• Own technical strategy for key Japan public sector customers, defining target architectures and roadmaps.
• Lead solution design for priority government use cases, including citizen 360, program analytics, and smart infrastructure.
• Design architectures ensuring compliance with public sector expectations on data residency, access control, and auditability.
• Collaborate with SIs and cloud providers to deliver integrated, production-grade solutions on Databricks.
• Mentor Solutions Architects and partners on effectively engaging with Japan public sector stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data platforms, analytics, or cloud architecture.
• Significant experience working with public sector organizations in Japan.
• Proven ability to build trust and lead high-stakes technical discussions with senior government stakeholders (CIO, CDO).
• Strong technical background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, AI/ML, or Cloud Architecture.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
