Salary: $70,000 – $105,000

What you will do

• Develop typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Prepare design documentation, plan sets, reports, and quantity calculations.
• Monitor design work for compliance with engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop project cost estimates.
• Support a variety of projects including urban roadway reconstruction, intersection improvements, and roundabout design.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in transportation or roadway design.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to work onsite in Draper, Utah.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD.
