Salary: $208,000–$260,000 base annually, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Set technical direction and own architecture for full-stack receiver experiences across web, mobile, and backend services.
• Design APIs, data models, and event-driven systems capable of serving tens of millions of users.
• Deliver new receiver-facing products from ambiguous, greenfield concepts through production.
• Integrate receiver capabilities with disbursement, foreign exchange, liquidity, identity, compliance, and pricing platforms.
• Build security, AML, KYC, encryption, auditability, observability, and strict availability and latency objectives into system design.
• Mentor engineers, lead design and code reviews, and improve engineering standards across teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience building and operating systems end to end.
• Expertise with TypeScript, React, and/or native mobile development, including iOS, Android, or React Native.
• Expertise in at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
• Experience designing distributed, large-scale systems with service-oriented and event-driven architectures, RESTful and asynchronous APIs, and relational or distributed databases.
• Experience leading large, multi-team initiatives and influencing technical direction across organizational boundaries.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building financial products for emerging markets, including LATAM, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, or Southeast Asia.
• Background in payments infrastructure such as card rails, ACH, real-time payment networks, mobile money, or digital wallets.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2 compliance in software environments.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
