What you will do

• Lead and manage tokenization strategy across SSA markets, including projects with global providers like Apple, Google, and Samsung.
• Drive the strategic hirify.global Accept and Transit roadmaps, defining product and market requirements for West Africa.
• Provide pre-sales technical integration support for the hirify.global Digital Solutions SDK and VTS APIs via the hirify.global Developer Center.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class proximity payment experiences and capabilities.
• Establish key performance metrics and measurements to ensure predictable delivery of new features.
• Manage integration, certification, and pilot launches in the SSA market and report performance to global teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Lagos, Nigeria.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technology expertise.
• 1+ years of progressively responsible experience in product development for mobile payments or systems integration.
• Experience with mobile contactless payment issuance (payWave, payPass), smart card deployments (EMV), or NFC applications.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders independently.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA).
• Experience in an engineering or pre-sales consultant role.
