Carrier Invoice Analyst (Freight Audit)

What you will do

• Enter, process, and audit carrier freight bills according to carrier and customer contracts.
• Investigate billing inquiries, failed audits, discrepancies, and accessorial charge issues.
• Analyze carrier pricing, tariffs, and invoice data to manage payables accurately.
• Collaborate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve root causes and ensure timely payment.
• Manage invoice work queues so carrier payments and customer billing are completed within 90 days of delivery.
• Perform related clerical and office tasks, including operating computers, scanners, and other office equipment.

Requirements

• Proficient verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret freight payment procedures and carrier pricing contracts.
• Understanding of the LTL and truckload transportation industry, carrier pricing, tariffs, and invoice details.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Experience with OTM, MercuryGate, Excel, Zendesk, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook; previous accounts payable experience is preferred.
